MARTIAL ART STYLES NOTES
Racial Restrictions: This form is unlikely to be learned by those without tails, as it was developed by the Yin-Lords.
Initial Bonus: Add +2 to P.S., Add +2 to P.E., Add +1 to P.P. and +2 to Spd., Add +10 to S.D.C.
Attacks per Melee: Three to start.
Weapon Proficiencies: The preference is for slashing weapons and the Shirn’s native Orb-blades are a favorite among the practitioners, starts with 2 W.P. choices.
Special Attack: Serpent Spin: The Martial Sai forfeits all of their attacks in the current round (may only auto-parry) of combat, next round their first attack is a spinning tail strike for 2D4 X 10 damage! Few among races without tails have mastered this attack because it is a form of double roundhouse kick.
P.P.E. Cost: Uses 4D6 per Serpent Spin. If it misses the P.P.E is still spent and may not be performed again until another full round of attacks has been sacrificed.
Yin-Nag’aak: 1: +2 to parry & dodge, Auto-parry, +1 to strike, + 5% to Sense of balance roll on 1d100.
2: +2 to pull punch, +2 to roll with P/F/I, +1 to strike when using a spinning tail strike / kick, Critical Strike from behind.
3: One additional attack per melee round, Knockout/Stun on an unmodified roll of 19 or 20.
4: +2 to damage, +1 to strike when using a spinning tail strike / kick, Critical Strike on an unmodified roll of 18 – 20.
5: +1 to pull punch, + 5% to Sense of balance roll on 1d100.
6: +1 to strike & entangle.
7: +2 to damage, One additional attack per melee round.
8: + 5% to maintain balance roll on 1d100, +1 to pull punch, +1 to roll with P/F/I.
9: +2D6 to tail strike / kick attack damage, may perform all tail strikes / kick attacks.
10: + 5% to Sense of balance roll on 1d100, +2 to parry & dodge.
11: One additional attack per melee round.
12: +2 to damage, +1 to strike when using a spinning tail strike / kick, +1 to strike.
13: +1 to pull punch, +1 to roll with P/F/I.
14: One additional attack per melee round.
15: Death/Blow on an unmodified roll of 19 or 20.
