MARTIAL ART STYLES NOTES
Initial Bonus: Add +1 to M.E., Add +2 to P.S., Add +1 to P.E., Add 10 to S.D.C.
Attacks per Melee: Three to start.
Weapon Proficiencies: Select any (no projectile weapons) but no bonuses from this form unless it is a two-handed / oversized weapon. Starts with 3 W.P. choices.
Special Attack: Whirlwind: If enemies are within 10’ feet +1 for every two additional levels of experience (11ft. at lvl 3, 12ft. at level 5, etc.) the Martial Sai may enact this power and strike one opponent per attack that they have with one strike roll.
P.P.E. Cost: Uses 3D6 per Whirlwind. If it misses the P.P.E is still spent.
Elongated Blade: 1: When using a two-handed / oversized weapon the character is able to fight with full weapon proficiency bonuses.
2: +2 to strike with an two-handed / oversized weapon, +1 to strike (normal),
and +3 to roll with punch.
3: Disarm and +2 to parry and dodge.
4: Plus one die of damage to an two-handed / oversized weapon (momentum).
5: One additional attack per melee round. +1 to spin attack
6: Reduce all penalties to using two-handed / oversized weapons by half.
7: Kick attacks: Karate style kick does 2D4 damage and any two
kicks of choice, except jump kicks.
8: +2 to initiative. If the character wins initiative it is possible to
get the weapon moving for full bonuses for the first attack!
9: Critical Strike on an unmodified roll of 19 or 20.
10: One additional attack per melee round.
11: +2 to strike with an two-handed / oversized weapon and +1 to strike (normal).
12: Body throw/flip. +1 to spin attack
13: Plus one die of damage to a two-handed / oversized weapon (momentum).
14: All penalties to using two-handed / oversized weapons are removed.
15: One additional attack per melee round.
