MARTIAL ART STYLES NOTES
GM Note: This is main form Dwarves that are Martial Sai take next to ’I am this Weapon’. This form teaches you to take damage and make the opponent your weapon.
Initial Bonus: Add +2 to P.S., Add +2 to P.E. and add +30 to S.D.C.
Attacks per Melee: Two to start.
Weapon Proficiencies: None to start, must be selected as an elective/Related O.C.C. skill or a Secondary skill. This form is about penetrating barriers, strength, precision strikes, using the opponent as a weapon against themselves. Gauntlets, Brass Knuckles, Cestus are the only style choices after level One. Which is a nice way of saying if you want to learn this form with a melee weapon it ‘MUST’ be chosen at level one.
Special Attack: Skin of Ithan: When activated the martial sai gains a Natural A.R. of 16, 160 S.D.C., and a darkened appearance to his skin as though he has a hardened callous for skin.
P.P.E. Cost: Uses 3D6 per Skin of Ithan.
Duration: 2 minutes per level of the martial sai.
Ith Rhun: 1: Auto-parry, +2 to pull punch, +2 to roll with P/F/I, +2 to parry, Critical Strike on an unmodified roll of 18 – 20, Critical Strike from behind.
2: + 15% to Sense of balance roll on 1d100, +2 to strike when using a body flip / throw.
3: +1 to strike, +1 to dodge.
4: +1 to parry, +2 to damage.
5: One additional attack per melee round, Critical Strike on an unmodified roll of 17 – 20.
6: +2 to pull punch, +2 to roll with P/F/I.
7: + 5% to Sense of balance roll on 1d100, +1 to strike when using a body flip / throw, Death/Blow on an unmodified roll of 19 or 20.
8: +1 to parry, +1 to dodge, +1 to strike, +2 to damage.
9: One additional attack per melee round, Natural A.R. looses the natural modifier and simply becomes A.R.!
10: + 1 to P.S., +2 to damage.
11: + 5% to Sense of balance roll on 1d100, +2 to strike when using a body flip / throw ( +2D6 to damage ).
12: +1 to pull punch, +1 to roll with P/F/I, +1 to parry, +1 to dodge.
13: One additional attack per melee round, +1 to strike, Body flip /throw does critical / double damage.
14: +1 to strike, +2 to damage.
15: + 5% to Sense of balance roll on 1d100, +2 to strike when using a body flip / throw ( +4D6 to damage ).
